Individual counseling
Space to understand
what’s changing.
You may know exactly what brings you here. Or you may only know that life feels harder, smaller, or less like your own. We can begin with either.
Life transitions & identity
A career changes or ends. A child leaves home, opening a new season for you. Retirement brings more uncertainty than relief. Midlife, aging, caregiving, changes in health, or changes in independence can shift familiar roles and leave you wondering what matters now. Recovery can also bring new questions about routines, relationships, identity, and meaning.
In counseling, we can explore what you’re leaving behind, what you want to carry forward, and how to make choices that fit the person you are becoming.
Grief & loss
Loss can change ordinary moments: an empty seat, a familiar routine, a future that no longer looks the way you imagined. Grief may follow a death, a separation, or the loss of a role or sense of belonging.
There is room here for mixed feelings and unfinished questions. We can make space for what matters without asking you to rush toward closure.
Burnout & changing priorities
You’re getting things done, but feeling increasingly distant from your own life. Rest may feel difficult. Responsibilities may leave little space for what nourishes you.
Together, we can look at what drains you, the expectations you carry, and where boundaries or everyday choices might need attention.
Relationships & rebuilding connection
Divorce, changing family roles, conflict, and loneliness can leave you questioning yourself and your relationships. You may want connection while also needing room to hear your own voice.
Individual counseling offers a place to understand your patterns, explore communication and boundaries, and consider how you want to relate to yourself and others.
How we work together
Understanding.
Practice.
Everyday choices.
I pay attention to the whole experience: what you’re thinking, what you’re feeling, how your body responds, and what happens in daily life. We’ll be curious about patterns without reducing you to them.
We might practice noticing a reaction earlier, making room for a difficult feeling, or choosing a response that better reflects what matters to you. My work draws on mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Reality Therapy, with the approach shaped collaboratively around your needs.
You can ask questions, say when something doesn’t fit, and help guide the work.

You don’t have to sort
through it all alone.
When you’re ready, we can start with what’s here.
