COUNSELING FOR LIFE’S TRANSITIONS OWENSBORO, KENTUCKY
Freedom Wellness Center — Permission, Presence, Protection, Peace

Getting started

You can begin
right where you are.

Reaching out doesn’t require having everything sorted. It starts a conversation about whether counseling here is a fit for you.

01

Reach out.

Call or email to request an initial appointment. You don’t need to have the right words.

02

Work out the details.

We’ll confirm availability, fit, payment details, and scheduling before you begin.

03

Start where you are.

Your first appointment is a place to talk about what brings you in and consider next steps together.

Schedule an initial appointment

Let’s take the
first step.

Call or email Ken to request an initial appointment.

Please keep your message brief and include how you’d like to be contacted. Avoid sending sensitive clinical information by email. An appointment is confirmed only after we arrange it together.

A few common questions

Before you begin.

What happens at the first appointment?

We’ll talk about what brings you in, what life has been like lately, and what you would like help with. You can ask questions about counseling and how I work. Together, we’ll consider possible next steps.

Do I need a clearly defined problem?

No. A sense that something feels off is enough to start a conversation. You don’t need a diagnosis, a polished explanation, or a plan for what comes next.

Can I meet in person or by telehealth?

Ask about in-person appointments in Owensboro and whether telehealth is an option for your circumstances. We’ll confirm the setting, location, and any eligibility requirements before scheduling.

What about fees and insurance?

Please contact me to confirm current fees, payment options, and insurance participation. If you plan to use insurance, we’ll discuss the information needed to check coverage before your appointment.

How are appointments arranged?

Call or email to request an initial appointment. We’ll confirm availability, whether the practice is a fit, and scheduling directly. A request does not reserve or confirm an appointment.
